Dear Parents,
In second grade we have a later lunch schedule. This can make for a very long morning, especially if students have not had a good breakfast. Please make sure your child eats breakfast each day before coming to class.
If your child’s teacher allows for a quick snack time after pirate time you may send a HEALTHY snack for them. Please do not send drinks, candy, or sweets of any kind. No snacks will be provided to students who do not bring one, unless a parent sends a snack for the whole class to share. If you are interested in supplying snacks for your child’s class please speak with the teacher. Listed below are some recommended healthy snacks for school.
