The Library and Media Center at Shepherd High School serves approximately 500 students in grades 9 through 12. Its collection has over 10,000 books for the students to check out and many periodicals in hard copy for their pleasure reading. Hundreds of additional magazine titles can be accessed in full text on the computers in the library. The SHS Library offers automated circulation and an online catalog, direct access to the internet, and multiple subscription databases on 15 student computers. Students are able to find information for their research papers and set up accounts to study for AP, SAT, ACT and other standardized tests through the databases the library subscribes to. The library webpage is an ongoing work so you will need to check back often to see what has been added!
